Eligibility Requirements
Eligibility requirements for education, character reference, work experience and identification must be met. All documentation mentioned must be received and approved by the IIA's certification staff. Candidates must hold an Associate's degree of higher for approval into one of the IIA's certification programs. Three A-level certificates with a grade C or higher is also accepted, as well as common equivalents are a Diploma of Higher Education, Foundation Degree, or Higher National Diploma.

Part 1 – Essentials of Internal Auditing
125 questions I 2.5 hours (150 minutes)
Part 2 – Practice of Internal Auditing
100 questions I 2.0 hours (120 minutes)
Part 3 – Business Knowledge for Internal Auditing
100 questions I 2.0 hours (120 minutes)
